I want you to be as undaunted as I am.

As an author, podcaster, and public speaker with over 45 years of experience as a funeral director, my approach of next-era, heart-based development recognizes women are the future–and I’m challenging the funeral profession to support them.

Resilience isn’t about avoiding challenges. It’s about facing them head-on and growing from them.

After the unexpected death of my father, I took over his small-town funeral home company. I had a big vision and big dreams, but didn’t have all the tools to get myself there. I started setting intentional, actionable goals, and I sought out mentors to teach me what I didn’t know.

I grew that small business into the premier full-service, multi-location death care provider in our region, with four locations, a full-service cemetery, flower and gift shop, centralized care and cremation facility, cremation society, grief counseling and pet service. Our organization served over 2,500 families a year.

And now, I am dedicated to helping other women fulfill their big dreams and goals in this profession.

Powering leadership in others

I sold the business in 2019 and dedicated myself to giving back. In 2021, I founded Your Funeral Coach and began consulting with current and future professionals to help them grow their companies and themselves as leaders.

In 2024, I founded Funeral Women Lead, a professional support organization dedicated to advancing women in the funeral and deathcare profession. Our Leadership Academy, a yearlong experience with an in-person kickoff, and as well as our Wellness Summit: a two-day event with many ways to get involved.

Your Voice. Your Power. Your Time to Lead.
