I’m Lisa Baue—author, podcaster, and public speaker with over 45 years of experience as a funeral director. With a combination of head, heart, and grit, I turned my father’s small funeral business into a thriving group of funeral care companies–as one of the first women leaders in this profession. I sold my business in 2019 to focus solely on championing other women who want to lead.

I write, speak and advocate nationally for women. With the support and partnership of others in this profession, I’ve founded Funeral Women Lead, written a memoir and leadership book, and speak, advocate and coach. I won’t stop until I see real change.
